KING FUNERAL
Dr.Martin Luther King’s Funeral, April 9 1968

On November 4, 2008, four decades after the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jesse Jackson (wearing green in the picture above) felt that a further step had been made towards the ‘Promised Land’.

Having so often seen and examined the picture above that points out one of the saddest moments in American history I found the images taken of Jesse Jackson on that historical night the most impressive and overwhelming.

Notwithstanding images and videos chronicling the American’s reaction on the election of Barack Obama have flooded the media all over the world I wish to share one of the extraordinarily haunting images depicting the profoundly touched Jesse Jackson.
